Last week, I attended a provincial leadership conference in Chicago, Illinois, with three friends to develop professional and leadership skills, discuss current business issues, and enhance networking with other brothers of Delta Sigma Pi, including college students and alumni.
Mrs. Plassmeyer explained the meaning of philanthropy and service, why they are essential, and which values we can pursue through those activities.
Using examples from United Airlines, Mr. Weber shared his experience discussing current business issues and their relationship to one another. He also advised us on how to transition our lives after college.
Mrs. Schudrowitz taught us how good leaders collaborate with their teammates and the skills and mindsets a leader must cultivate.
It was an excellent opportunity to learn and experience much more than expected. I want to thank Delta Sigma Pi for holding this fantastic event, Katherine for demonstrating her leadership as a representative of the Delta Sigma Pi - Kappa Omega Chapter at Purdue University, and Matt and Kylie for starting this fantastic journey with me!
