Moments in the military allowed me to take a small break to rewind my past and prepare for the future. After returning to campus, I planned my next steps, one of which was to join a professional fraternity called Delta Sigma Pi.
Delta Sigma Pi is a professional business fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities. Unlike other fraternities, they are co-ed and have no houses on campus. I believe a college is a place more than academic learning. Fraternity is a unique college culture in the United States, and I also wanted to make more friends in the business school because friends I met freshmen are seniors, and some of them have already graduated. I went to their callouts and Meet the Chapter events to get information about what they are. My proud 18 friends and I have officially been initiated as a part of brothers through learning about the fraternity and the chapter's history and getting to know members.
I expect to be involved in more campus activities through Delta Sigma Pi and learn more about American business cultures. If I ask myself what I achieved and experienced after graduating college, I want to answer that I learned and experienced more than in textbooks and lectures. This journey has not yet ended. There are still more things to learn and overcome. A long journey in college has just started.
